Tangipahoa Practical Shooters

Club #CL100490
Active

Tangi Practical Shooters Inc. was originally started back in 1981 and was called Tangi Combat Shooters. It has grown from a small group to over 145 active and inactive members that come out and shoot at least once a month. We are located in Amite, Louisiana and operate our matches at the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriffs Range located at the end of Storey Road. We would like to extend an invitation to all that enjoy the shooting sports to come and participate in this fun and challenging sport. New shooters are always welcome. The range is open to the public on Saturdays from 9:00 am till 1:00 pm, except for the 1st Saturday due to a match, on the 4th and 5th Saturdays we close at noon to begin match setup for Sunday. Anyone is welcome to the range for practice or to view a match on match days. Shooters and spectators are required to provide and wear eyes and hearing protection at all times. The use of the Sheriffs department range is totally free. You are responsible for bringing your own targets and stands as we dont supply any of these to the public.
