Aurora Gun Club

AGC is a hidden jewel in Aurora, Ontario. The club currently enjoys a wide variety of disciplines and offers an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere. The 2023/2024 year has been a busy one, from matches, practices, classifiers, holster courses and Safety Officer training, lots of events keep our large group of shooters gainfully engaged. This year we promoted 4 Cheif Safety Officers adding to our leadership team.

Our club is small and humble, but we have a large cohort of accomplished and talented practical shooters. This year our club organized a club team to represent at the Spring Challenge, the Provincials, Nationals and the Algonquin Cup. We brought home numerous awards for 1st place in classification and division. We are looking forward to Nationals at Peterborough Fish and Game in July and the Algonquin Cup at Eagle Lake in August.

AGC IDPA meets every second Monday evening from 5:30pm till we run out of ammunition and every fourth Saturday from 8:00am until noon. This occurs every month. If you have an IPSC black badge or IDPA holster qualification please come out and join in on the fun. If you are a PPC shooter with a holster qualification you may also join in. Having said this, IDPA is defensive pistol that utilizes conceal carry and scenario/standards based stages, making this discipline quite unique from the above stated disciplines. Expect a learning curve with great people and high engagement that will leave a smile on your face.
