Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission Supporting the 2022 IDPA US National Championship presented by Beretta
The Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission is back for a second year, supporting the 2022 IDPA US National Championship presented by Beretta.
The Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission is a nonprofit agency with the mission of representing the Grand Junction area in attracting new sports, enhancing existing sports, and delivering customer service-driven events that positively impact our economy and community.
The organization is a collaborative effort between Colorado Mesa University, the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, the City of Fruita, and the Town of Palisade.
The GGJSC serves as an advocate for local amateur, collegiate, and professional sports organizations because we understand the cultural importance of sports in our community.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the support from the Greater Grand Junction Sports Commission. Last year for our 2021 National Championship match the GGJSC was incredibly helpful, connecting us with so many local vendors and businesses. They really went out of their way to make our competitors feel welcome in the Grand Junction area.” said Joyce Wilson, Executive Director of IDPA.
The IDPA National Championship is scheduled for September 22nd-24th, 2022, at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex in Palisade, Colorado. Participants will be competing either Thursday or Friday and Saturday, and the match is expected to draw over 400 of the sport’s top shooters.
