SRG MEGA Match

About this match

The first annual Sprague Rod and Gun Club Mega match!! This match will be run over several days with staff shooting Friday 11 September 2020. Match will consist of 10 stages, shot in one day (either Saturday or Sunday) by each shooter. Each shooter should bring snacks and water, if desired (highly recommended). Shirts will NOT be provided. Based on the unprecedented times in which we find ourselves, this match will adhere to the State of Connecticut COVID-19 Guidelines. This match will be classified as a private outdoor event. Therefore, under current State of Connecticut guidelines, each day of the match will be limited to 100 participants including staff. Each squad will be limited to no more than 12 shooters, which will maintain groups less than 15 when counting Safety Officer, Scorekeeper, and other staff. Spectators may be allowed with match staff/Match Director approval. Shooters are asked to abide by social distancing standards at all times during the match. Squads will not congregate with other squads on a stage. In the unlikely event of a delay of the rotation, squads will hold position at their completed bay and move to the next bay only when the other squad is finished. Masks are optional for all shooters and match staff. Match staff will enforce Connecticut state COVID-19 Guidelines. Any concerns should be brought up to a staff member immediately. Out-of-State Shooters should follow current State of Connecticut Guidelines regarding interstate travel. Applicable restrictions may be found at https://portal.ct.gov/Coronavirus/travel. Essentially, any out of state traveler who will not be staying in Connecticut for greater than 24 hours is not required to self-isolate in the state.
