2019 New Mexico IDPA Blue Line ProAm

The New Mexico IDPA Blue Line Pro Am is a benefit match put on by civilians for those in uniform, while participating in a sport we all love.

This is the second year for this match. Last year we raised over $6000 to give! Our beneficiaries will remain Ten-82 and Horses for Heroes.

The match will be governed by the International Defensive Pistol Association. All IDPA rules and match requirements will be met. We have obtained special permission to have a Pro Am, team component to the match. Each competitor will shoot for an individual score, but will also have to option to participate in a two man team, one “pro” and one amateur.

You do not have to participate in the ProAm to shoot the match or shoot with your partner. You shoot the match for individual score first.

At the end of the match you and your partners scores will be tallied for a combined score. The top three teams will be recognized as well as most accurate team. Your classification is assigned a point value.

Your team can be a total of 7 or fewer points. Master or Distinguished Master (5) Points, Expert (4) Points, Sharp Shooter (3) Points, Marksman (2) Points, Novice (1) Point.

The match will consist of 12 stages. Eight of the stages will be scenario based, two will be short drill stages that are based of LE Agency drills, and two will be standards. This match will be Tier 2.

The match will be conducted on a Friday and Saturday, one day format for shooters at Del Norte Gun Club in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. The dates will be November 1 – 2, 2019. SO and Staff shoot on Friday the 1st and Competitors on Saturday the 2nd.
