2025 Virginia Indoor Regional

The VIR will be a 9 stage Tier 2 match with 5 stages being shot in the light and 4 stages shot in the dark. A concealment garment and a flashlight are required.

This is an IDPA sanctioned match and all IDPA rules will apply.

You must hold a Marksman classification or better to shoot this match.

No jacketed hollow-point, steel core, Tul, or Wolf brand ammunition allowed.

The shooting will be accomplished in 5-hour time slots with 15 shooters per squad, 2 squads each Friday / Saturday / Sunday.

Safety brief will be held 1/2 hour prior to scheduled squad start time. Shooters who are not present for the safety briefing 30 minutes before their scheduled shooting time will NOT be allowed to shoot and will forfeit their entry fee.

Match Fee includes VIR Match T-shirt.

No refunds after 03/07/25. Withdrawals prior to that date will be processed minus the credit card fees.

Registration after March 7th does not guarantee receiving a T-shirt.

For those that have shot previous VIRs, the format for this match has been reworked. Last year instead of seeing 5 stages crammed into our range at a time with 5 stages in the dark, we tried a different concept where no more than 2 stages set up at any given time and only 1 dark stage. That gave us the flexibility to have stages spread out more than in the past. This year we are using the same concept but are going back to our roots with half the stages being shot in the dark.
