Badger IDPA Halloween Match 2015

BADGER IDPA ? October 17th, 2015 The next Badger IDPA match is coming up on Saturday, October 17th, 2015. The match is being held at the Schultz Resort Rod & Gun Club in Muskego, WI. Directions can be found on our web site at http://www.badgeridpa.com. This match is our annual Halloween match, and will take a few liberties with regards to targets. Tom Ropers is the Match Director for this match. Online registration is available at the following site ? http://badgeroctober2015.eventzilla.net Registration will be open from 10/09/2015 until 10/16/2015. Online registration match fees are $16 for Badger IDPA members, $21 for non-members and $10 for Safety Officers. Walk-on registration is also available on the day of the match, with match fees of $20 for Badger IDPA Members, $25 for non-members, and $10 for Safety Officers. Setup and range preparation will start at 07:30. Registration will begin at 08:30. The Safety Briefing will be at 09:30 and shooting will start at 10:00. You MUST attend the safety meeting to be able to shoot. If you arrive late and miss the safety meeting you will not be able to shoot. Also, eye and ear protection are required for everyone who goes out into the range regardless if you are shooting or just observing. COURSES OF FIRE There will be seven stages. Approximate round count for the match is 125. A concealment garment is required for most stages. NEW SHOOTERS If you are a new-to-IDPA Shooter, a Safety Officer will give a new shooter briefing detailing the rules, procedures and range commands. New Shooters are asked to not gear up until after they?ve been through the New Shooter Briefing. If you haven?t shot an IDPA match in a while, feel free join the group for a refresher. SAFETY OFFICERS We plan on at least 5 squads, and we will need at least 2 people per squad to act as Safety Officers. SO?s and Shooters are invited to arrive early to assist with stage set-up.
