The 2025 Alabama State IDPA Championship is a Tier III match that will be held at the new Brocks Gap Training Center in Pell City, AL. It will feature 12 stages (plus chrono) with a round count of approximately 200.

Dates
Friday, October 10th, 2025, is for staff shooters. Squad makeup subject to change.
Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th, 2025, is for competitors shooting.

Registration
Registration opens on Practiscore April 14th, 2025 at 8:30am CT and closes on September 19, 2025, at 5:00pm CT
Shooters are automatically approved in the order that they are registered.
Payment of the $125 match fee is required to squad.
REFUND POLICY No Refunds after September 19, 2025. Refunds prior to September 19, 2025, will have credit card fees deducted.

Additional Information
Lunch will be served during the match. (Lunch selection is on registration form).
A Match jersey will be available for competitors to purchase.

The 4th Annual Pineywoods Shootout, has grown to be a resounding success with diverse, interesting, and fun stages set in a unique and beautiful wooded range. The match staff prides itself on a well run and efficient match and we have had unbelievable success that has improved each year. We welcome all shooters of Novice classification or higher into our match, and would love for you to join us in 2025!

The Battle at the Boondocks is a Tier III IDPA match that will follow all IDPA rules in the current rulebook. The match will be held at Boondocks Firearms Training Academy.

The match will consist of 12 stages plus chrono & equipment check.
Round count: 200 minimum

Per M5.4 of the Match Administration Rules, Competitors may only choose one subcategory to add to their registration.
Per M5.5 of the Match Administration Rules, staff should also be chosen for those working the match.

Friday Schedule:
7:00 – Sign in
7:45 – Shooter’s meeting
8:00 – Hammer down for staff and Friday competitors
3:00 – Sign in opens for Saturday competitors

Saturday Schedule:
6:00 – Sign in opens
7:00 – Staff meeting
7:30 – Shooter’s meeting
8:00 – Hammer down

Snacks and water will be provided during the match. Lunch will be provided after the match. Additional meals can be purchased for non-shooting spectators for $15 each (pre-paid). Tickets will be given out with shooter’s bag at check-in.

Match Fees & Refunds:
$125 match fee. Once registration is approved, you will be allowed to pay all fees and squad.
Refunds will be given is withdrawal is made before September 1, 2025, at midnight. There will be no refunds after this date.

There will be no division changes allowed after September 1, 2025, unless there is a match promotion.

Squadding:
Squads 101-104 are for staff and Friday competitors
Squads 1 – 10 are for Saturday competitors

The 2025 Space Coast Challenge will be the premier IDPA sanctioned match of the year in Florida! We have devised 14 challenging stages with a minimum round count of 220. The stages are designed to test your ability to think, perform and shoot under pressure. This will be The Match to test your skills and compete with the BEST in the pistol shooting sports.

You have three options when selecting a squad for the match. You can sign up to:
1) Shoot all 14 stages on Saturday
2) Shoot 7 stages Saturday morning and the remaining 7 stages on Sunday morning
3) Shoot 7 stages Saturday afternoon and the remaining 7 stages on Sunday morning.

PMRPC does not allow AIWB holsters (or Serpa holsters that require the use of the index finger to release the pistol from the holster) due to insurance/liability reasons.
PMRPC does not allow the barrel of a loaded weapon to point over the berm. Empty chamber reloads can point over the berm, but must be down when the slide goes forward or cylinder is closed.
