IDPA level II match,

Please join us as we kick off Michigan’s 2025 outdoor major season with the 19th Annual Great Lakes Regional Friday, May 16th (staff) and Saturday, May 17th. This is a Tier-3 match that will feature 10 stages, a warm-up, and chrono.

Staff Arrival: 07:45 a.m.

Rules: Current IDPA Rulebook

Club Rules: For the duration of the match, the facility will be designated a COLD RANGE. PCCs require a chamber flag and will be carried to and from the line either muzzle up or down. Except for revolvers during a reload, muzzles over the berm while unloaded or cylinder open will result in a DQ. A dropped firearm anywhere on the property is a DQ.

Spring weather in Michigan is unpredictable, we could get everything from snow to temperatures comparable to Hell, MI (see what I did there). Plan accordingly.

On site camping is available (including a limited number of hook-ups). Contact David Anderson if you need to reserve a spot. There will also be several porta potties throughout the club for your pleasure.

Rocky Mountain Regional IDPA Championship (RMR) 2025

Registration opens on Practiscore, November 10th, 6 pm MST

NOTICE: PCC Division Capacity is 15 rounds for this match.

The RMR will be held at the Cameo Shooting and Education Complex (CSEC) located 15 minutes East of the Grand Junction Airport. This will be a Tier 4 match. $290 match fee. $145 for Juniors.
When you register for this match, you will automatically be entered to shoot the Colorado State IDPA Championship (CSC) 2025 at no charge. If you want to shoot in a different division in the CSC, you\’ll change it on your Practiscore CSC registration page. The RMR and the CSC will run concurrently. RMR on day one and the CSC on day two (or the reverse depending on your squad). Both matches finish on Sunday May 25th.

Match Staff and some competitors will shoot the RMR & CSC on Thursday & Friday, May 22nd & 23rd. The majority of competitors will shoot the RMR and the CSC on Saturday and Sunday, May 24th & 25th.
There will be an awards banquet in the CSEC event room on Sunday evening. Dinner for competitors is included in the match fee. $20 for guests, paid at the door. Ammunition is available for pre-purchase from CSEC. Call 970-464-1339 to purchase. The match is hosted by the Action Pistol Group of Grand Junction.

STAFF: Staff positions are nearly full, but we are still accepting applications. If you would like to work the match, please apply. There is always attrition. If you are not on staff by November 10th, register as a competitor. If we add you later on, we\’ll refund your match fee. Click the link at the bottom of this page (or copy & paste). For SOs whose home is greater than 50 miles from Cameo, we offer a travel expense reimbursement of $50 per day, capped at $200. If you are selected for Staff, you will be notified before November 10th. If you have not been selected for staff by Nov 10th, please register as a competitor.

Accommodations: Our match hotel will be the Quality Inn on Horizon Drive. They will offer a $135 daily rate. Call 970-245-7200 and ask for the IDPA rate. We strongly advise booking your airfare and rental cars early. Fares increase significantly with travel demand to this regional airport.

Payment is required for competitors to register. Match shirts will be provided for Staff. Details on match shirts are not yet finalized.
Last minute cancellations, division changes, and new classifications wreak havoc with the awards. Please get your classifiers done early.

Refunds: Once we have ordered trophies, food, and incurred other costs based on your attendance, your match fee will not be refunded. Refunds will be granted in full (minus administrative costs), until April 1st. No refunds after April 1st.

The Colorado State IDPA Championship (CSC) 2025 and the Rocky Mountain Regional IDPA Championship (RMR) 2025 will be held simultaneously in an event we call \”The 3rd Rock Regional\”. The 2025 IDPA Nordic Championship presented by Gunsmith Guild of Finland is scheduled for May 24th-25th, 2025 at the Loimaan Laukojat Shooting Range in Loimaa, Finland.
Participants will be competing all day either Saturday or Sunday in main match.
Staff will be competing all day either Thursday or Friday in pre match.
Participants shooters in pre match only as special request and approved by match director.
Registration will open on January 01, 2025 at 12:00 Central +2 and will close on May 10, 2025 at 18:00 Central +2. Competitor selection will be arranged in order of paid registration.

International shooters outside EU area will need an import permit for any guns and ammo from Finnish authorities. If you need that permit, we can help to get it. Please contact te**********@as***********.fi for it. Permit will cost 90 euros as officials document fee, that is not refundable in any case.
There is about 8 weeks waiting period for this permit.

STELLA POLARIS

We are pleased to announce the IDPA Tier 2 indoor match, featuring staff shooting on Friday, followed by three groups on Saturday and three groups on Sunday. Each group will consist of 8 shooters, and the shooting time for each group is set at 3 hours. Match location is Paraisten ampumarata, Tunnelikuja 4, 2040 Parainen.

The match will include 7 stages with a total of 124 shots. The divisions available are SSP, ESP, CCP, and CO.

The ticket price is 75, which includes a patch and substantial trophies. Awards will be distributed according to the 2023 rulebook.

Registration will open on February 1, 2025, and will close on May 1, 2025. Shooters can register for the match at Shootnscoreit. Please note that shooters will be approved for the match only after the match fee has been paid. Approved shooters will have the opportunity to choose their squad and shooting schedule.

The match fee of 75 should be paid to the TURVU IDPA bank account FI21 5434 0820 1188 21 by May 1, 2025, at the latest.

Additionally, there will be another IDPA Tier 3 match in the same area on the same weekend. Participants are welcome to compete in both matches. International shooters who register for the match may request an official invitation by contacting id********@gm***.com.
