Tuesday Monthly IDPA Match

The TCSC IDPA match scheduled for March 18 will be postponed for one week due to the snow and is rescheduled for Tuesday, March 25. There will be 8 stages with a minimum round count of 72. Note: For those of you who may think a little snow should not cause us to reschedule a match, consider that we would likely be wading through mud to do setup as well as to score and paste targets, and that we would be limited to static stages because of poor ground conditions. Note: all shooters are expected to stay to takedown the stages and police the brass from the setup on which they finish shooting. If this is your first IDPA match at TCSC, you must arrive by Noon for a new shooter class in the clubhouse. In addition to taking the class, you will be required to provide evidence of basic competency with a handgun before you can participate in the match. Such evidence, for example, would be a certificate from the NRA Basic Pistol Class, a certificate of completion of a self-defense handgun course from a recognized training facility, an IDPA classification of Marksman or higher or an equivalent classification from USPSA, IPSC, or ICORE, or law enforcement identification. Advance registration for this match is required.
