BERRYVILLE, AR – Alien Gear Holsters, a company that has an inherent desire to make things better- to push the status quo one holster at a time. Alien Gear Holsters will once again be a major sponsor of the IDPA US National Championship as a stage sponsor.

Now in its 22nd year, the 2018 IDPA US Nationals is one of the shooting sports’ most popular matches. The match will take place September 13th thru the 15th on the Alabama range of Civilian Marksmanship Park in Talladega.

Alien Gear Holstersjoins Propper, Hogue, Holosun Technologies, Nighthawk, Nowlin Arms, Springer Precision, Warren Tactical Sights and Mumford Coldwater as a Silver level sponsor of the championship. The match is expected to draw over 300 of the sport’s top shooters. Shooters are expected to compete for titles in Custom Defensive Pistol, Enhanced Service Pistol, Stock Service Pistol, Revolver, Back up Gun and Compact Carry Pistol, the six divisions within IDPA.

In 2010, Thomas Tedder’s firearm slipped from his holster and clattered to the ground in a Chucky Cheese parking lot. This unfortunate mishap drew attention from nearby patrons. 

Knowing that he could no longer depend on someone else’s holster. Tedder began to build his own from the confines of his kitchen.
